Linda Kipp Linda has trained dogs and people for about 25 years. She has trained her own dogs to four UD titles (AKC Utility Dog), one OTCH title (AKC Obedience Trial Champion), three TD titles (AKC Tracking Dog), one TDX (AKC Tracking Dog Excellent) title, fourteen MACH titles (AKC Master Agility Champion), two NAC titles (AKC National Agility Champion), four ADCH titles (USDAA Agility Dog Champion), and two NATCH titles (NADAC Agility Trial Champion). Linda focused primarily on obedience and tracking during her first 15 years of training dogs. She was an AKC Tracking Judge and also served on a search and rescue team during that time. For the past 15 years, most of her time has been devoted to training, showing, and teaching agility. Linda has won and placed in multiple National and International Agility events with her dogs. With her dog Jessie, she won the AKC National Agility Championship in 1999 and 2000, won the USDAA Grand Prix World Championship in 2001, along with numerous other national agility wins and placements. They also served on the AKC/USA World Team for three years where they represented the USA in Finland, Portugal, and Germany. In 2001, Linda and Jessie, along with teammates Steve Frick/Comet, Elicia Calhoun/Suni, and Linda Mecklenberg/Awesome were the Gold Medal winners. This was the first American big dog team ever to win the Team Championship. In 2007, Linda returned to the obedience ring where Jessie finished her UD at age 10 and her OTCH (AKC Obedience Trial Championship) at age 11. Throughout most of her 30 years of dog training, Linda has also been instructing students and their dogs. The people and dogs that she has instructed have earned numerous obedience, tracking, and agility titles. In addition to training her own dogs and instructing, Linda is also an AKC Agility Judge. She is approved to judge all AKC agility classes. |
